Nilwala River

The Nilwala River starts from the streams of the Gongala Mountain from the right bank of the Sinharaja Hill. It covers an area of about 81 km. The water level of the area is 960 sq. Km. This is the main tributary of the tributaries of the Ganegala mountain range. This is added to Nilwala River from Akuressa town.
