Awareness Programme and registration of Informal Sector Tourist Service Providers - Hikkaduwa
𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐋𝐓𝐃𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 & 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐰𝐚 Organized collaboratively by the 𝘙𝘶𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘶 𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘉𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘶, 𝘚𝘳𝘪 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘢 𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘈𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 (𝘚𝘓𝘛𝘋𝘈) 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘬𝘬𝘢𝘥𝘶𝘸𝘢 𝘜𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭. This special Awareness Program and Mobile Service for SLTDA registration was held on 30th/31st July & 01st of August at the Hikkaduwa Urban Council Auditorium.
The mobile service continued for three days, during which over 200 participants received information and application assistance and more than 100 individuals successfully completed their registrations.
A special awareness session was conducted by Mrs. Tharanga Rupasinghe (Director of Standards and Quality Assurance at SLTDA) focusing on the importance of registration for tourism service providers and the benefits it offers.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗸𝗸𝗮𝗱𝘂𝘄𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻. 🌴✨
